In the single line, the lubricant is fed to the metering valves intermittent pressure through one main line and is then supplied to the friction points from these. Single line system.

In the two-line system, the lubricant is fed through the change over block under alternating pressure to the two main lines. These main lines contain metering valves which, controlled by the alternating pressure, supply the lubricant to the bearing points. Two-line system.

The solenoid energised Oil Injection Unit with up to 4 nozzles, directed at the frictional points (e.g chain link pins) is activated by means of a signal received from a proximity switch. Once the Unit operates, an impulse is relayed to a Control Unit. The Control unit will be programmed to receive the total number of impulses required to lubricate the entire chain, i.e. the total number of links, before a rest period is initiated. Ideal for Conveyor chains.

In the oil-air system, oil is transported in the form of droplets by means of a carrier air stream and supplied to the bearing in concentrated form. Oil-air system.
